New couple has been ‘hanging out’ since January . The two stars were reportedly set up by a mutual friend

 
Amanda Seyfried’s box office numbers may not be so hot, but her love life is certainly steaming up.

The “Red Riding Hood” actress, 26, has been quietly dating actor Josh Hartnett, 33, after the two were set up by a mutual friend, according to Us Weekly.

“Josh likes to keep things low-key, so they’ve just been hanging out,” a friend close to the two stars told the magazine.

Though they’ve managed to keep their blossoming romance hush-hush, the pair was reportedly spotted at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont on Feb. 6 while on a double date with on-again couple Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, Seyfried’s “Gone” co-star.

Seyfried’s love life may be a little less complicated now that she’s got her full attention on Hartnett.

The new couple has reportedly been seeing each other since January, however as the Daily News’ Gatecrasher column previously reported, Seyfried was dating real estate broker Justin Huchel up until this past Valentine’s Day.

But despite previous romances with New York-based real estate exec Andrew Joblin and actors Ryan Phillippe and Alexander Skarsgard, the actress still counts ex Dominic Cooper as her “last real boyfriend.”

Seyfried told the March issue of Glamour that a reconciliation with the British actor, whom she dated for three years until 2010, is always “possible.”

She said of her “Mamma Mia” co-star: “We still joke about having kids, like ‘If it doesn’t work out with other people, we might as well just have a child.’”
